The Blood Donation Camp held on World Blood Donor Day was a resounding success, with 180 donors stepping forward to give the gift of life. Organized in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society and Safdarjung Hospital blood bank, the camp collected 150+ units of blood in a single day. Donors were provided with refreshments, certificates, and health check-ups including haemoglobin testing and blood pressure monitoring. The collected blood was directed to hospitals across Delhi, directly supporting patients in need of transfusions. The camp also raised awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and dispelled common myths.
